The Dundaye Village Project

About Dundaye

In the heart of one of the Northeastern states of Nigeria, West Africa, lies a village where the heartbeat
of the community bounces back with the rhythms of endurance and a fervent belief in a brighter future,
summarizing the very essence of positivity. Welcome to Dundaye—a village not just a geographical
location, but in the hearts and stories of its people. Join us as we embark on a captivating journey,
delving into the intricacies of this extraordinary locale, where every corner resonates with a spirit that
rises above challenges. Here, the spirit of hopefulness is not just a concept; it is a living, breathing
reality, waiting to be discovered and celebrated.

Dundaye Life & Environment

  • Dundaye village, situated in the AWAK
Ward, of Kaltungo Local Government Area, located
in the southern part of Gombe state, is home to a
community of Hausa people, where life revolves around agriculture.
  • A close-knit village with a population of 700-1000 children and families; the livelihood of
each family, is intricately woven around the cultivation of crops and husbandry.

Challenges

  • These challenges extend far beyond
the visible, ranging from the relentless grip of Malaria, Typhoid Fever, and Cholera to the
insidious presence of Dysentery, River-blindness-induced eye problems, sleeping sickness,
pneumonia, cough, and complications related to blood flow in women and young ladies

Your support becomes a vital component of this transformative mission.

We invite you to be a part of this transformative journey by donating to the cause. Your donations hold the key to crafting a brighter future for the people of Dundaye. To extend your support, we encourage you to visit our website at www.peterubafoundation.org. Here, you will find the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by donating to the construction of a mini village clinic/dispensary with a dedicated budget fund of $50,000. This healthcare facility is not just a building; it represents a lifeline for a community in dire need of medical attention and support. Additionally, your contributions will aid in the creation of ten (10) borehole water centers, a necessary initiative that comes with a budget fund of $40,000. These water centers will be more than mere sources of hydration; they will be fountains of strength, safeguarding the community against water-related crises and ensuring continued access to clean and safe drinking water. Furthermore, your support will facilitate the construction of two (2) storage facilities with a budget fund of $115,000. These storage facilities will serve as protective shelters for the villagers’ hard-earned crops, shielding them from the detrimental effects of weather and preserving their economic stability and food security. By donating to these specific initiatives, you become an integral part of The Peter Uba Foundation’s mission to empower the people of Dundaye. Your donation is not just a financial contribution; it is a gesture of solidarity, a commitment to transforming adversity into opportunity, and a step towards fostering change.
